Jill Hennessy

Her diverse heritage comprises Irish Italians, Swedish, Italians as well as French and Ukrainians. The twin of Jacqueline is an actress as well. As a child, Jill became fluent in different languages such as Italian, French and Spanish. As she was 12 years old old, Jill became interested performing. At the age of 12, in Toronto the city she was born, she began her career as an actress in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. She played an escort alongside her twin sister. Following her improv classes with Deb Kimmet from Second City, she began her acting career in Toronto. After that, she made the move back to New York two years later after which she signed a deal to play the role of Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit longest-running drama Law & Order. Over the 3 years she lived in New York and worked on several movies with a feature-length story, including RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1996) and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). Her work was featured in a couple of boring films during the subsequent time, but she finally got as the lead in the 1999 miniseries uremberg with Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York, Exit Wounds and other major productions would follow. She was cast as a lead in the NBC crime show Crossing Jordan. And in 2007 for her work to the show she was honored with a Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding Female Lead in a Drama Series". She got married in 2000 to her co-star Paolo Mastropietro. The couple has two kids together. She was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame in 2007. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
