Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980. She's an American actress and singer. Bell is an Michigan native born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). Kristen was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods and was raised by the family of a Polish mother and father who is German, English Irish, Scottish and Irish. Kristen discovered a passion to perform on the age of a child. She was able to land her first role at the auditions for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell was appointed by her mom to become an agent when she was thirteen years old. She was then selected for newspapers ads as well as TV commercials. Now, Bell also begins private acting lessons. Bell played an uncredited part on Polish Wedding (1998), an upcoming film. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she was involved in music as well as drama. She was the star of Dorothy in the school's play The Wizard of Oz. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theater following her graduation. Bell left the school in 2001, when she landed the role of Becky for Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credits in Pootie Tang at the beginning of 2001. However, her scene cut, and her only appearance is in the end credits. Bell appeared with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
