Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American model and a singer. Also, she was a co-star in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain. She is known for co-starring in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain and for having been the singer in the girl group Apollonia 6. Apollonia was christened as an actress and singer by Prince. In the '80s she was among several other performers who gained from Prince. Patricia Kotero was born in Santa Monica, California in 1959. Her professional career began with modeling in the late 1970s. Also, she made an appearance on CHiPS. The lead female character in Prince's Purple Rain was her first role that she played in the year the year 1984. Prince changed the girl's name in this period. She was replaced by Vanity by the female group Vanity 6 for her role in the movie with Apollonia 6 replacing Vanity. In the years that followed her career was a full-time actress with minor film roles as well as small television shows. Apollonia created a bilingual Spanish and English album titled Stay With Me. After that, she went back to college and received a degree in filmmaking, and formed her own production company, often working on children's television. Apollonia is an incredibly talented woman.
